A number of real estate firms have been named finalists for the first Momentum Media Australian AI Awards, which recognize notable contributions to the Australian economy through innovative AI technologies. This esteemed black-tie event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Four Seasons in Sydney.
These awards are the first in Australia dedicated to acknowledging professionals and organizations that have pioneered groundbreaking artificial intelligence solutions across a range of industries, including real estate, accounting, aerospace, banking, cybersecurity, defense, mortgage broking, law, and wealth management. 193 finalists from different sectors will compete for honors in 10 individual categories and 15 group submission categories.
Among the finalists are several real estate agencies, property research firms, and proptech companies, including Raine & Horne, CoreLogic, Propic, and the Real Estate Institute of NSW.
EY, one of the world’s four largest accounting networks, stands out with 14 nominations across various categories.
The list of finalists also features academics and researchers from Australian universities, alongside providers of legal and accounting services, cybersecurity firms, mortgage brokers, and companies in the defense and aerospace sectors.
The finalists were selected using a rigorous awards methodology designed to assess and compare Australia’s leading AI professionals and businesses.
Judging criteria incorporated both quantitative and qualitative elements, acknowledging accomplishments in growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, and overall contributions to the AI sector in Australia.
Each submission underwent a comprehensive audit to verify demographic information and eligibility based on the provided details.
Eligible submissions were reviewed by a panel from Momentum Media’s events and editorial teams, along with relevant stakeholders, to determine the finalists for each category.
Finalists’ submissions will be reviewed by a panel of respected academics, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Each submission will be evaluated according to the category criteria, with scores combined to produce an overall score.
Multiple judges will assess each submission, contributing to a combined score for a thorough evaluation. The scores for all submissions in each category will be totaled, and the submission with the highest score will be named the winner.
Winners will be revealed at the black-tie gala on November 6, 2024, at the Four Seasons in Sydney.
