PropertyMe, a cloud-based property management platform, has launched MePay, an innovative payment platform that allows tenants to pay their rent safely and securely in Australia. MePay uses encrypted payment software with a direct link to a major bank, ensuring that payments are processed safely and securely. Unlike traditional payment methods, tenants’ account details are not shared with the agent.

Scott Shepherd, the Chief Product Officer of PropertyMe, stated that MePay will revolutionize the property management industry by reducing administration time and improving safety, security, and visibility for both agents and tenants.

According to Shepherd, MePay will provide agents with full visibility on real-time rental payments and reduce the amount of time spent managing payments and chasing arrears. Additionally, the platform will be well-received by tenants as it provides greater security, control, and convenience than other payment methods. Unlike other third-party rental payment platforms, MePay does not charge fees for tenants, owners, or property managers.
