Prominent Australian real estate marketplace, Homely.com.au, has unveiled a strategic alliance with The Room Xchange, a trailblazing home-sharing platform.

Homely.com.au has carved a niche for itself as a top-tier online real estate hub in Australia. It’s especially esteemed by potential buyers and renters for its unique content offerings, which include neighborhood assessments penned by local property experts and interactive forums facilitating Q&A sessions with actual inhabitants.

Meanwhile, The Room Xchange stands out by simplifying home-sharing. They employ advanced algorithms that contemplate personality aspects, core values, and living habits, ensuring impeccable matches. Additionally, they’ve introduced innovative co-living contracts, incorporating versatile home-sharing models and options to offset rental fees.

Expressing his enthusiasm, David Webb, Head of Industry at Homely.com.au, remarked, “Partnering with The Room Xchange team is an exhilarating venture. Their groundbreaking approach to simplifying the house-sharing experience is noteworthy. Such avant-garde solutions are the need of the hour, especially to present individuals with more economical living alternatives.”

Echoing this sentiment, Ludwina Dautovic, The Room Xchange’s Founder and CEO, noted, “Our collaboration signifies the convergence of two forward-thinking proptech entities, both zealously working towards reshaping residential matchmaking. We’re optimistic that this joint effort will further enrich our customer experiences and bolster the home-sharing fraternity.”

Individually, both entities have made waves with their cutting-edge, pocket-friendly solutions in their respective domains. The Homely Group’s recent fiscal data for 2023 showcases an impressive 20.5% revenue upswing, notwithstanding market adversities. On the other hand, The Room Xchange has been lauded as the “Most Innovative Scaleup – Environment, Social & Sustainability” at the 2023 Australian Proptech Awards.
