Honeywell, the US tech multinational with a long-standing presence in Australia, is set to engage with customers through the newly established PropTech Hub at YBF’s recently opened coworking space in Sydney’s CBD. With a history of nearly 60 years in Australia, Honeywell has served customers in various sectors, including aerospace, building and industrial control technologies, automotive products, and specialty materials. The company operates through 28 offices across Australia and New Zealand, employing over 1,500 professionals.
YBF Ventures CEO, Farley Blackman, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with Honeywell, stating that it was the ideal way to inaugurate the Sydney space. He emphasized the significance of such collaborations in driving innovation in Australia, which aligns with YBF’s primary objective of spearheading innovation initiatives in the country. Blackman added that the Honeywell PropTech Hub would join a prestigious group of government-backed projects.
Proptech startups participating in the hub will prioritize agility and speed in their development processes, complementing Honeywell’s expertise in software and solution development. The PropTech Hub will undertake two innovation cycles per year, actively engaging and collaborating with four startups specializing in property-related solutions.
Applications are now open for the first intake of the PropTech Hub. Interested parties can access detailed information and apply through the provided link.
