The product was employed by Jye Bohm and Sophie O’Dea to preview their new home during the design stage, with their excitement and confidence in the design being expressed following their virtual walkthrough experience. Mr. Bohm described the experience as incredible, noting the observation of the height of the ceilings, the size of the rooms, and a better understanding of the house’s layout, all of which instilled great confidence in their design.
The couple’s experience highlights the practical benefits of virtual home previews, as they were able to identify necessary modifications, ultimately saving significant costs in variation fees. Mr. Shaw underscores the affordability of the product, with Plans 3D priced at $600 for a conversion of floor plans to a virtual reality walkthrough, and Plans 2D available for just $20.
