Technology empowers real estate professionals to deliver personalized service efficiently

In a recent episode of REB’s podcast, The Smart Property Investment Show, Tara Bradbury, principal leasing agent at Active Agents, discussed how technology has revolutionized their approach to property management, enabling them to tailor services to each client’s needs.

Bradbury explained that the decision to establish Active Agents stemmed from a desire to simplify the rental process in Hervey Bay. She highlighted challenges where potential tenants were unable to view properties or complete paper-based applications, leading to missed opportunities.

To address these issues, Bradbury adopted Managed, a property management platform, to automate essential processes while maintaining personalized client communication. She emphasized the platform’s capability to streamline payment processing and focus property managers’ attention on critical tasks.

Tara Bradbury highlighted the strategic automation of critical operational tasks to enhance efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on personalized communication. This includes automating essential processes such as confirming inquiries via phone calls and sending tailored emails to schedule property viewings. Leveraging technology in these areas streamlines operations and ensures that each client interaction is meaningful and tailored to their specific needs and preferences.

Despite leveraging automation, Bradbury emphasized the importance of personal engagement, especially during COVID-19. While automation efficiently handles tenant inquiries, prioritizing personal connections remains key. Ninety-five percent of our rent roll prefers phone conversations, ensuring a human touch.

Moreover, Bradbury emphasized how technology plays a crucial role in sensitively managing client needs, particularly for those experiencing domestic violence. Active Agents maintains protective measures and detailed notes for vulnerable tenants, ensuring their safety and well-being is prioritized.

By integrating technology with personalized care, Bradbury is confident that Active Agents can offer a service that distinguishes them in the local market. Clients highly appreciate the personal touch, which makes them less likely to consider other agencies for their property management needs. This commitment to personalized service underscores Active Agents’ dedication to fostering trust and satisfaction among their clientele.

This proactive approach underscores how technology enhances real estate services, fostering meaningful client relationships and operational efficiency in property management.
