ASX-listed DomaCom has appointed Steven James as its new acting Chief Executive Officer. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Steven brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
Steven’s extensive background includes senior positions at leading institutions such as the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank, and Westpac. His diverse experience also encompasses roles as a foreign exchange dealer at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. Notably, Steven played a pivotal role in developing Australia’s largest wholesale broking business during his tenure in the stock-broking sector.
Currently serving as a Director at Aston Consulting, Steven specializes in strategic advisory services, covering areas such as capital raising, marketing, product distribution, digital transformation, and corporate change management. His robust skill set in marketing, product distribution, and digital transformation aligns well with DomaCom’s growth strategy.
Moreover, Steven’s extensive experience as a Company Director, serving on the boards of various listed and unlisted entities including financial services organizations and property industry business groups, further strengthens DomaCom’s leadership team.
Steven’s appointment comes following the resignation of John Elkovich, who served as Chief Executive Officer since April 2022. DomaCom Chairman John Hewson expressed gratitude for John’s contributions, acknowledging his role in overseeing a significant increase in Funds Under Management and the complete rebranding of the business.
