CIM, a renowned global provider of building analytics software, has extended its partnership with The GPT Group, a leading real estate owner. This expansion involves the deployment of CIM’s cutting-edge PEAK Platform in an additional 13 premium-grade office buildings owned by GPT, encompassing close to 570,000 square meters of real estate.
With this latest development, CIM’s collaboration with GPT now spans 23 assets, covering more than 1.3 million square meters of GPT’s commercial real estate portfolio across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia. Notably, among the 13 new sites are some of Australia’s most prestigious, iconic, and sustainable office buildings, including 111 Eagle Street in Brisbane, Melbourne Central Tower in Melbourne, 530 Collins Street in Melbourne, and 580 George Street in Sydney.
Previously, GPT and CIM primarily focused on their retail portfolio, with the PEAK Platform being operational in nine of GPT’s shopping centers, totaling over 760,000 square meters. Now, GPT has entrusted CIM to be its analytics partner across a more diversified portfolio, encompassing both office and retail assets.
Scott Crellin, National Director of Group Property Operations at GPT, emphasized the company’s commitment to climate action and biodiversity protection. He stated that GPT strives for carbon-neutral outcomes, including reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from their buildings. The expanded partnership with CIM enables GPT to leverage advanced analytics to maintain the highest levels of performance, efficiency, and collaboration, contributing to better environmental outcomes for the communities they serve.
David Walsh, CEO, and Founder of CIM expressed his excitement about the extended partnership with GPT, praising the company’s leadership in sustainability and management of a vast portfolio of premium, highly-rated assets. He looks forward to further empowering GPT to improve environmental outcomes, optimize operations, and foster a collaborative workflow. The collaboration aims to deliver value across some of Australia’s most prominent retail and office assets.
CIM’s PEAK Platform is powered by artificial intelligence and continually monitors and provides real-time insights into a commercial building’s operational performance. It efficiently detects and resolves faults and inefficiencies in large plant and equipment, significantly enhancing financial performance, reducing climate impact, and creating a superior customer experience.
