    AI Takes Over Room Renovations: realestate.com.au’s Latest Tool Launch

    realestate.com.au has rolled out a cutting-edge AI styling tool that lets users virtually revamp property images. This advanced room visualization feature, created in collaboration with Roomvo, is available on both desktop and mobile platforms for registered users.

    In just its first month, the tool has been employed to redesign more than 500,000 property images. This feature aims to boost property owners’ confidence and assist them in progressing with their property ventures.

    Jonathan Swift, Executive General Manager of Consumer Product at REA Group, emphasized REA’s dedication to investing in cutting-edge technologies to improve its offerings and create tailored experiences. He noted that the company has been leveraging AI and machine learning for over ten years, with a recent emphasis on generative AI to propel their consumer strategy forward.

    Swift noted that personalization is central to the realestate.com.au consumer experience, with their AI-generated personalized homepage delivering 7.5 million individual recommendations through various layout combinations daily. He emphasized that these tailored experiences foster deeper engagement and deliver value to customers.

    The room renovation tool offers homeowners 11 preset styles, including modern, rustic, and coastal, as well as customization options for walls, floors, and benchtops. Users can choose from various paint colors, flooring types, and tile options.

    Swift expressed excitement about the tool, noting its potential to transform how Australians envision their future homes. He predicted significant changes in the way consumers search for properties on realestate.com.au over the next five years.

    Pawel Rajszel, CEO of Roomvo, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with realestate.com.au, highlighting how the tool enables Australians to effortlessly reimagine their living spaces. Rajszel underscored the aim of making home design more accessible and integrating Roomvo into the Australian real estate market.
